And that’s when God began teaching me that trust was never meant to be built in the moments when I had all the answers.

Trust grows when I take His hand in the middle of the unknown.

Maybe you’re standing in a place like that today: A crossroads where the path ahead feels uncertain, uncomfortable, and unfamiliar.

This may not be the moment where God reveals the entire journey. It may simply be the moment where He invites you to follow.

Discernment

Discernment rarely happens in the noise. It is discovered in the quiet places where we pause long enough to ask, “Lord, what are You saying?”

Sometimes His answer confirms what we hoped for. Sometimes His answer redirects us somewhere we never expected to go.

Either way, His leadership is always rooted in His goodness.

Discernment is not about having every answer. It is about knowing the One who does.

Waiting Obedience

Waiting has a way of revealing what we truly believe about God.

I wish I could say I have always waited with patience and peace, but there have been moments when I wanted to run ahead, create my own solution, or force a door open before God was ready.

I learned over time – and with maturity and experience – that God was not withholding.

He was preparing. The waiting season was not empty ground. It was a place where trust was quietly growing roots beneath the surface.

Obedience in the waiting says, “God, I may not understand what You are doing, but I know who You are.”

Trustful Release

Eventually, every journey with God brings us to a moment of surrender. A place where we loosen our grip on our plans, our timeline, and our need to control the outcome.

And that is where peace begins. Not because everything around us has changed. Because our perspective has.

The same God who led us yesterday is faithful to lead us tomorrow.

Pay attention to where He is inviting you into greater trust.

Ask God one simple question: “Lord, what is the next faithful step You are asking me to take?”

Suggested Prayer

Father, I confess that I often want the map before I take the first step. I want certainty before surrender and answers before obedience. But You are inviting me into something greater: a deeper relationship built on trust. Give me discernment to hear Your voice, courage to obey while I wait, and peace to release what I cannot control. Help me remember that Your plans are good, Your timing is perfect, and Your presence is always with me. Lead me one step at a time. Amen.
