In this challenging Covid-19 global outbreak, fear has manipulated its way into homes across the world.  Not only are people anxious about health precautions, due to  business shut-downs, financial concerns are at an all-time high as well.

For all of you struggling with extreme anxiety over how this world-wide issue is affecting your personal circumstances, I want to assure you of this:  The Lord is bigger than the Coronavirus.  Please remember that His bank account and resources are limitless –  and I CAN PROVE IT!

To set up my story, I need to tell you that I am a small business owner, which means that I don’t have a regular paycheck and the only time I know I will be paid is if someone hires me.  Yet despite not knowing how my bills will get paid each month, I tithe anyway – trusting the Lord will provide whatever I need.  I’ve been doing this for almost 20-years now…and the Lord always pays the bills.

These last few years have been especially difficult, both financially and in other ways.  I’ve had very few client contracts and often no way to cover regular living expenses.  Yet each month the Lord opens up His bank account, and money shows up in unexpected miraculous ways to pay my bills.  After several years of living this way, I’ve come to a place of peace and rest in the Lord’s provision.

Then last year in October 2019, I became so confident in the Lord’s provision promises, I started playing a game with Him called “I Can’t Out Give You God!”  I began by giving $100 more on top of my 10% tithe that month – without knowing how I would pay for my regular bills – and a week later the Lord surprised me with an unexpected check that was $200 more than my total tithe for the entire month!  

I had so much fun playing that game, I decided to do it again in Nov 2019 and increased my tithe amount from the month before by $25 as a sign of my confidence in the Lord’s faithfulness.  And like a child, I gleefully watched the Lord respond throughout November by providing unexpected income to pay all of my bills, plus a small overage towards December’s bills.

So from December 2019 thru February 2020 I continued the game – increasing my tithe each month by $25 over the month before – and sent out the total tithe offering on the 1st of the month….BEFORE knowing what I would make or how the bills would get paid. The Lord paid the bills each month (often at the last minute!) and I laughed for joy with each unexpected provision that showed up!   And here is my favorite provision story yet!

PROOF THAT SUPERNATURAL PROVISION IS REAL!!

At the beginning of March 2020 I only had enough money to pay rent and one other bill.  So I stood in faith believing the Lord would provide another $1,000.00 dollars to cover a bill due on March 27th. I asked the Lord to receive it by 3/20/Fri so I would have time to transfer it from my business account to my personal account to send out the check on time to arrive on by the 27th.  Every day in March I decreed supernatural provision, quoting scripture by declaring God’s promises to back it up – because Proverbs 3:9-10 says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”

Before I went to bed on 3/19/Thu I told the Lord I trusted in Him and thanked Him for the provision to pay my bills.  When I got up on 3/20/Fri I found an email from a friend of mine asking if I took credit cards. It was an odd question because I’ve never tried to sell her any of my services or products, so I simply responded back “yes, through PayPal” and went on with my morning. An hour later I checked email and she responded again asking if I was still offering my VIP Day Jabez program. I sent an email back saying “yes,” wondering again why she was asking because the Lord made it clear to me in 2018 that I was not supposed to market my business, but rather live in faith that He would provide.  I didn’t even know she knew about that program.

A few minutes later she emailed again, sharing that God told her I was the coach she had been asking Him for, but she had hesitated telling me because of the financial stretch it was going to take for her to invest in a coaching program.  So she asked the Lord for a sign to move forward, and when I said “yes” to accepting credit cards she knew she received the Lord’s confirmation to obediently follow through with the purchase. What was really neat was that she not only purchased the base program, she also added on the Life Purpose meeting ….bringing the total provision amount from the Lord to $1,422.00 !! MORE THAN I NEEDED!

When I read through her email explanation for the program purchase, I felt the Lord’s presence while joyful tears streamed down my face as I began laughing with the Lord — because her response was an answer to a prayer that I’ve been waiting on since 2018! Of all the coaching programs I’ve created since 2010, the VIP Day Jabez program is the one I’ve wanted to do more of with clients.

When I created that program in 2018 and did it with Laure (see testimony video on the VIP website), it was so fun for both of us that I couldn’t wait to do it again with someone else. Unfortunately, no one showed any interest after that. Disappointed, I laid the program down and went on with my life. Of course, what I didn’t know is shortly after working with Laure that the Lord was going to call me out on my Crazy Adventure and keep me in a state of total dependency on Him for the next 18 months [that wouldn’t have happened if He had brought me VIP program clients].

What’s really funny about this whole situation is that in February 2020 I caught a glimpse of the VIP program on my website (I hadn’t even thought about it for a long time) and casually said to the Lord, “Am I ever going to get to do this again?” and went on with my day not giving it another thought since then. How like the Lord to give me an opportunity to do what I love AND provide the money to pay my bills all at the same time….a 2-for-one answer to prayer!! I love how the Lord designs that kind of provision to show me He hears my voice and tell me how much He loves to give me great gifts!

Another surprise from this situation is that when I totaled up my bills for the rest of March, the money I received on 3/20/Fri covered all of them AND provided a balance to pay several other bills that were sitting on my desk awaiting money to send those checks.

Today I am standing in faith for April 2020 financial provision to cover all my bills….and I can’t wait to have new testimonies about that provision when it arrives!
